Job Description

Valour Group is an integrated team of companies that operate, develop, and construct residential and commercial real estate.Our sister company, Pro Funds Mortgages, is a boutique mortgage brokerage with 30 years of expertise in real estate acquisitions, development, and mortgage finance. We are a fast growing and dynamic team and have an immediate opportunity in our Burlington, Ontario headquarters!GENERAL RESPONSIBILITYThe Associate, Investor Relations is primarily responsible for onboarding new clients and nurturing investor relationships while maintaining a high level of customer service and client satisfaction. The role will help support all activities associated with raising capital for Valour Partners Products. The job requires very strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the exceptional ability to manage external relationships in the professional investor community.Candidates who are successful should possess a robust personality, driven by the ambition to prioritize the needs of investors and clients. Maintaining the company #39;s esteemed reputation among partners, clients, and regulatory bodies is of utmost importance. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ongoing building and nurturing of client relationships while maintaining a high level of customer service, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
  • Developing a pipeline of new client business through various sources and continuously working to grow that network of business.
  • Achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Coordinate and conduct investor meetings and presentations to educate prospective investors on the Valour Partners product offerings.
  • Developing targeted marketing campaigns, handling investor inquiries and meetings, liaising with key stakeholders to facilitate closings.
  • Act as first point of contact to respond to investor inquiries.
  • Participate in business development efforts and ongoing management of potential clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent communication, sales, and presentation skills.
  • Strong client service and client interaction skills.
  • 1-3 years in banking, financial services, or client-facing experience.
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Completion or working towards Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFSE Exempt Market Proficiency Course is an asset.

TRAVEL
  • Travelling to trade shows, investor meetings, etc. presentations within the GTA may be required.
