They work collaboratively with the physician staff of the Children #39;s Health Care Service in general and of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)specifically. In the NICU, NNP work is conducted using guidelines agreed upon with the Medical Director of the NICU. The NNP is responsible for complete daily management of a caseload of patients, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and day-to-day implementation and evaluation of an appropriate plan of care.EDUCATION:Registered Nurse, currently licensed in the State of VT as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. BSN and satisfactory completion of an accredited Neonatal Practitioner Program. National certification as an NNP.EXPERIENCE:At least 2 years as a NICU Nurse.
