Job Description

On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for an AWS Developer - Interoperability to join our Client #39;s team on a contract basis. This role is 100% Remote, and the Client is based in Canada, requiring candidates to align with Pacific Time (PT).Summary of the Role:The AWS Developer will support the Digital Health Innovation (DHI) Program’s Interoperability initiative by designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure cloud-based solutions using AWS. The role includes implementing DevOps best practices, building CI/CD pipelines, developing APIs, and ensuring compliance with FHIR standards to enable data sharing across systems.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy AWS-based solutions to support healthcare interoperability.
  • Develop APIs and ensure adherence to FHIR standards.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools for cloud resource management.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Core Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOpsamp; AWS Cloud Engineer.
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, Docker, and container-based architectures.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and FHIR standards.
Desired Skillsamp; Experience:
  • Experience with Smile CDR and healthcare IT systems.
  • Familiarity with Spring Framework, .NET/C#, and JavaScript.
  • Advanced expertise in FHIR resource development and validation.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and troubleshooting high-traffic production systems.
  • Experience mapping between FHIR and other data sources.
Terms:This is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months and three possible 6-month extensions.
