Job Description

As a Specialist in our Digital Construction team, you will be creating complex 3D models, integrating structural and mechanical systems to assess constructability. You will be working extensively in REVIT or CATIA and our internally-developed cmCore products (cmBuilder.io) to deliver these large Architectural, Engineeringamp; Construction (AEC) projects.Responsibilities

  • Perform virtual design and construction studies of construction documentation (2D drawings and specifications) for all building elements (e.g. architectural, civil, structural, mechanicalamp; electrical), integrating all disciplines into one central 3D parametric model
  • Create Structural (concrete, wood-frame, mass timber and steel systems) and/or Mechanical (plumbing, HVAC and electrical) 3D models for coordination and review
  • Provide constructability feedback through the creation of virtual RFI reports, outlining issues for the client
  • Attend and support project coordination meetings; deliver live reports to customers and construction personnel
  • Manage revisions in the Digital Twin 3D model that take place throughout the design and construction phases
  • Generate various detailing packages linked to the construction Digital Twin 3D model
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
Requirements
  • Proficient in REVIT (ideally MEP)
  • Knowledge of parametric CAD software (i.e., CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, etc.)

A bachelor #39;s degree in Mechanical or Structural engineering would be an asset, but all engineering and/or construction backgrounds are encouraged to apply!
