Job Description

Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an Electrical CAD Drafter/Designer to be based in our Burnaby, BC office. You will work in a team environment with intermediate and senior engineers to deliver advanced wateramp; wastewater treatment and large pumping station projects to our client base in Western Canada.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff.
  • Design and produce drawings and specifications for instrumentation and control devices for various processes including water/wastewater treatment and industrial applications.
  • Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety, and code requirements.
  • Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Develop electrical and instrumentation drawings for various infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and REVIT
  • General understanding of procedures, and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
  • Strictly adhere to AECOM #39;s project CADD standards, including the capability of learning and adopting clients #39; standards and requirements upon request
  • Provides basic design and produces drawings and specifications for instrumentation and control devices for various processes specific to municipal and industrial applications.
  • Develop electrical and instrumentation drawings for various projects using AutoCAD and REVIT.
