Join us for a journey of growth, innovation, and excellence in engineering consulting!The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technologist, specializing in the inspection and design of electrical systems, to join our dynamic team. Our projects encompass new construction, renewals, energy consulting, and one-off inspections across mechanical, electrical, envelope, and civil work.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed electrical system inspections and produce comprehensive electrical planning reports, with a focus on future needs like HVAC upgrades and EV charging infrastructure.
  • Perform calculations, inspections, and assessments of existing electrical systems.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to prepare Energy Audits and Depreciation Reports.
  • Design and layout electrical systems with an emphasis on practical, code-compliant solutions.
  • Estimate costs for electrical upgrades in multi-family complexes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technologists to deliver tailored solutions for buildings.
Qualifications:
  • Technical degree/diploma in a related field, with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in electrical CEC and NEC code, with experience in EV charging station design highly valued.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD, AutoPlant, and other relevant software, with an emphasis on electrical system design.
  • Experience in designing medium voltage systems and proficiency in creating detailed electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site inspections and assessments.
  • ASET/ASTTBC registration is a plus.
