Job Description

The Acquisition Group, one of Western Canada’s largest and most successful marketing companies, is looking for a reliable Dispatcher to join our team representing TELUS Smart Home Security and TELUS Future Friendly Home Services. The Dispatcher will act as the main communication point between our Technician team and our Sales team to successfully manage customer installation appointments. This Dispatcher will also be in charge of inventory management, along with providing operations support.Responsibilities

  • Receive and dispatch orders for service installations
  • Act as a liaison between Sales and Technician teams
  • Manage inventory levels, reporting, ordering and deliveries
  • Manage, organize and oversee warehouse
  • Coordinate, prioritize and optimize Technician schedules for maximum efficiencies
  • Contact customers to confirm their orders and installation appointments
  • Enter data in computer system and maintain records of calls, activities and installation notes
  • Monitor and report quality concerns to Technician Operations team
  • Support with training and other operational duties upon request
Requirements
  • Full Time Availability (Mon-Sun) with flexible hours for on call support
  • Remote and on location work, with occasional travel required
  • Proven experience as a Dispatcher or relevant position
  • Proven experience in sales and/or telecom is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication in English (oral and written)
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Active listener with strong attention to detail
  • Sound judgement and critical thinking with proactive problem solving skills
  • Minimum High School Diploma required
  • Must be able to pass a Canadian Criminal Record with a verdict of Clear
