Job Description

On behalf of our Healthcare client, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an Technical Business Analyst (Salesforce) to join our client #39;s team on a contract basis.Summary of the Role:This position, the Technical Business Analyst will be working with business, clinical, and technical stakeholders to define requirements and document user stories. The successful candidate will have experience working with Agile methodologies in various projects, and experience supporting technical architecture personnel in the design of interfaces and systems built on the Salesforce platform. Prior demonstrated knowledge of and experience with technical design of Salesforce solutions are required.

  • Technical BA who has over five years’ experience in healthcare and at least three years of experience with Salesforce
  • Services include, but not limited to:
  • Analyze existing functionality and integrations and gather new requirements as informed by business and clinical stakeholders; and,
  • Work with other technical personnel across client, delivery, and vendor organizations to develop and refine technical user stories describing feature build and testing criteria.
  • Work closely with the project manager, Enterpriseamp; Solution Architects, product owner, and vendor team:
  • Liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Organize stakeholder engagement sessions;
  • Produce clear and concise documentation for stakeholders; and,
  • Identify and manage risks and issues.
  • Conduct multi-layer data analysis independently by linking data from multiple health information data sources; and,
  • Support the project team in the creation of project documentation, executive presentations, and reports, as required.
Skills and Experience Required for the Role:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical BA in the healthcare sector in Canada
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Salesforce as a technical analyst or similar role
  • Understanding of Salesforce Data Model
  • Understanding of Salesforce capabilities and experience designing and configuring customized solutions on this platform
  • Experience supporting technical architecture resources in the design of systems and interfaces
  • Experience analyzing processes and understanding the interactions between various healthcare systems
  • Identifying and estimating required technical activities
  • Defining technical work assignments and priorities
  • Documenting technical work and developing technical reference materials
  • Gathering and collating customer business and technical requirements, researching solutions and assessing feasibility.
  • Nice to have: Salesforce Platform Developer certification or a Salesforce Platform App Builder certification, or both
  • Experience working with the Health Authorities in BC
