Job Description

Test Lead, Microsoft 365On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Test Lead, Microsoft 365.Test Lead, Microsoft 365 Job Duties:

  • Understanding the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of project,
  • Estimating and obtaining management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing,
  • Defining the testing strategy,
  • Building a testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes and motivation,
  • Identifying training requirements and forward it to the Project Manager (Technical and Soft skills),
  • Developing the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan,
  • Arranging the Hardware and software requirement for the Test Setup,
  • Assigning tasks to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project,
  • Ensuring content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained,
  • Documenting, implementing, monitoring, and enforcing all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization,
  • Coordinating the test team to work closely with the business SME’s and the vendor to create and modify test cases and test scripts,
  • Checking / Reviewing the Test Cases documents,
  • Keeping track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project,
  • Escalating issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to the Project Manager,
  • Organizing the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Project Manager,
  • Communication with the Client (if required),
  • Acting as the single point of contact between Development and Testers,
  • Tracking and preparing the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.,
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of different testing milestones,
  • Preparing / updating the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project,
  • Mentoring less experienced team members to create test scripts, execute testing and log defects,
  • Supporting and maintaining Test Tools,
  • Providing thought leadership to support communication and artifacts for readiness activities and transition to sustainment including Service desk and NTT where appropriate,
  • Working with Cloud Services Leadership and all relevant stakeholder teams to identify, document, manage, and resolve issues and risks identified including mitigating change and training impacts,
  • Supporting communications and distribution of engagement toolkits (including templates, key messages, etc.), and
  • Supporting other Cloud Services change management team members (e.g. change and communications analyst(s) and testers).
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Drafting reports, briefing notes, and other supporting documentation for senior management and governance working groups,
  • Facilitating meetings (inclusive of agenda, minutes and other meeting materials), and
  • Other duties as assigned.
Test Lead, Microsoft 365 Mandatory Skills:Critical / Mandatory skillset:
  • Demonstrated experience understanding the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of project,
  • Ability to estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing,
  • Experience defining the testing strategy,
  • Ability to building a testing team with appropriate skills, attitudes and motivation,
  • Work experience with software quality control concepts and practices,
  • Ability to create, update, and review test documentation,
  • Knowledgeable of defect resolution processes and practices,
  • Work experience with test case management, requirements and defect tracking tools,
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
  • Troubleshooting skills on windows OS, web and client/server applications,
  • Experience with backend and API testing and related test tools,
  • Experience maintaining and supporting Test Tools (i.e. TestRail) in large Enterprise and/or Healthcare environments would be beneficial,
  • Able to communicate effectively and build relationships with developers, business analysts, less experienced testers and project managers,
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently,
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and collaboration skills,
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions,
  • Ability to take ownership and independently drive progress,
  • Ability to adapt evolving technology requirements as they are introduced during the project, and applying these into a clinical context to meet user requirements,
  • Critical thinking skills and strong process orientation, and
  • Organizational and time management skills.
Desirable skillset:
  • 2+ years of experience with BC Health Authorities,
  • Testing of Microsoft products (TEAMS, Exchange, SharePoint etc.),
  • Working knowledge of hospital/clinical systems, care delivery processes, clinical roles, policies, and standards preferably gained in the PHSA, PHC or VCH environment,
  • Understanding of organizational dynamics to manage variety of different stakeholders,
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clinical and business stakeholders and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment,
  • Ability to translate and express clinical, process and technical problems, outcomes and benefits using layperson terms,
  • Direct experience designing and implementing and support testing in a large, complex multi-stakeholder environment, and
  • Certification from a training association is an asset.
