We believe in spirited teamwork where we learn, innovate and develop as individuals and as a team.As National Equipment Engineering team, we are involved in wireless equipment strategy, planning and detailed engineering by developing engineering workflows, standardization and specifications.We are heavily involved in automation and tool developments so we can work at scale to support the modernization of our multi-technology multi-vendor Radio Access Network (RAN).As 5G RAN Equipment and Automation Specialist, you’ll apply your technical leadership and innovative thinking to deliver the best of data analytics, process automation and equipment engineering.You’ll collaborate closely with other team members to drive and lead the adaption of an automation first approach to our critical workflows and processes.What you’ll do

• By exploring data analytics and insights to uncover automation opportunities to transform our equipment planning and engineering processes and workflows as we enter the era of 5G
• Designing, forecasting and quantifying the radio equipment needed for cell site related projects. The successful candidate will bring strong industry knowledge coupled with business acumen and must possess an aptitude for using niche and custom engineering systems and tools
• Strong problem solving, automation and data analytical skills to import and process large amount of data and extracting meaningful information using visualization tools like Tableau, Splunk, Excel or Python etc. so that we can work at scale
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to understand new technologies, develop and deploy new products aligned with best practices and standards
• Producing detailed equipment list of equipment and configuration engineering documentation (RAN, power, floor plans, rack layouts, connection diagrams, etc.)
• Support cross functional teams (RF Planning, Implementation, Operations etc.) in equipment and configuration related matters and produce engineering work orders according to the implementation schedule
• Proven ability to drive projects autonomously, produce quality project results and create technical documents.
• Help drive the evolution of our teams towards a DevOps and Agile culture

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics and tool development
• Bachelor’s engineering degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Ability to create web based applications and dashboards that can be shared with executives and other stakeholders
• Experience with programming languages, such as C# or Python, familiarity with common data analysis libraries and API Development Experience
• Solid understanding of database applications (SQL, Oracle, NoSQL)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with yes-we-can attitude
• Strong knowledge of UMTS/LTE/5G technology and sound understanding of cell site RAN equipment
• Ability to create web based applications, databases, and Tableau dashboard for executive views
• Solid understanding of database applications (SQL Server, Oracle etc) and SAP

Great to haves

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience with Cloud platforms preferably Google cloud platform (GCP)
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum/Kanban
• Software Development Experience
• Knowledge Tableau 8.0 or above will be strong plus
