Harmony to celebrate each other’s unique contributions to bring solutions to clients.Role:Our Client is currently seeking an experienced #601090 IT System Administrator - Linux (Contract) for a 6 months contract starting in Nov 2021 with strong possibility of extension. The work can be done remotely but resource must reside in Canada for duration of project. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience as a System Admin in an enterprise environment installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux servers (ie CentOS, Fedora). Experience with VMware and Docker virtualization, Perl and Bash scripting, would be an asset. Prevous experience with moving on-premise to Cloud would be an asset. Excellent communication skills and positive attitude. Knowledge of French language would be an asset.All Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.Applications will be accepted until: Friday, October 29, 2021.Technical Skills (Nice to Have):

• 6+ years of experience as a System Administrator (Linux) or equivalent in an enterprise IT environment (must have)
• Experience in Install, configure and troubleshoot Linux servers (CentOS and Fedora)
• Experience with administration of VMware and Docker virtualization.
• Experience with Perl and Bash scripting
• Experience installing and configuring physical or virtual servers
• Other nice to have’s:
  • OS and Windows Server services (Active Directory, GPO, certificate, etc.)
  • Backup Systems
  • Cloud services
  • ITIL processes
• Bilingual Language: English and French
• Must be eligible to work in Canada

Education:

• Degree/Certificate in Information Technology or equivalent would be an asset
• Active Technical Certifications would be an asset
