WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Reporting to the Manager of Legal and Recovery, the Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and guiding the foreclosure or power of sale process for mortgage files held by Bridgewater Bank.
  • Communicate daily with various internal and external partners, ensuring the legal action is moving forward in the process. Communication takes place via email, phone, and external platforms.
  • Mitigate possible losses by controlling the costs incurred to protect our security in the property, the cost of the legal action and negotiating the sale price of properties that have been through the legal action.
  • Complete regular loss provisioning on each mortgage file in excel, outlining costs incurred and anticipated sale value as well as hypothetical losses based on possible title issues or extensive wear and tear to the property.
  • Negotiating the final sale price of a property, which may determine the loss or profit Bridgewater Bank may incur
  • Report accurate and complete financial and operational data to internal parties within established timeframes.
  • Oversee the legal action from beginning to end, commencing the action with the law firm, reviewing, and negotiating payment arrangements, correcting title defects, and completing the sale or transfer to the mortgage insurer.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
  • You have at least 3 years of foreclosure or power of sale experience.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems, working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • You may also have knowledge of the Wealthview Banking and Nationwide Recovery Services Platform (not a requirement).
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have an excellent ability to prioritize and manage multiple files.
