We provide treatment and support for children, youth and families with mental health needs.We are based in Calgary with locations in Lethbridge, Strathmore and Fort McMurray. Our 500 staff and 100 volunteers provide 40+ programs and services for 20,000 children and their families every year.We are accredited through Accreditation Canada and have earned two Leading Practice Awards, and Exemplary Standing status three times. We are nationally recognized for our innovative and groundbreaking services.What Were looking forAre you an enthusiastic individual with excellent team work and communication skills Are you deadline oriented and numbers focused If so we want you to join our Wood’s Homes family as a Part-time Accounts Payable Administrator.This position will be part of our Centralized Services Finance team at our Parkdale Administration Office and will report to the Manager of Finance.What youll be working onAs an Accounts Payable Administrator you will be responsible for all accounts payable functions. Which includes the following:

  • Reconciliation of vendor statements
  • Reconciliation of month end accounts as assigned including the inter fund accounts
  • Preparation of adjusting journal entries
  • Enter all invoices
  • Provide a final check on coding
  • Complete cheque runs and matching as required
  • Be an active member of assigned committees with Finance Manager approval
What youll bring:
  • Business Diploma or Degree with a specialization in Accounting.
  • Two (2) years of experience working in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Experience working with Accounting Software, Great Plains experience would be considered an asset.
  • Formal and continuous enrollment in a professional accounting designation program would be an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and a team player.
