We are looking for someone who takes the initiative, is a stickler for details yet is also light hearted and friendly. The successful candidate must be able to work on their own and in a team environment.Duties will include (we are looking for someone with experience in the following, please do not apply unless you have experience):Managing ReceivablesManaging Vendor Invoices and Inventory itemsPayrollSafety AdministrationAnswering the phone when necessary, in a courteous and friendly mannerCollectionsDelivering excellent customer serviceScheduling customer appointments for tire and mechanical servicesAssisting the secretary and counter staff with duties as requiredMaintaining general office filing systemProviding service quotes and receiving customer authorization for work to be performed on customer vehicles, finalizing sales, and completing customer follow upEnsuring that all products are billed accurately to the customerWhat does it take to get on trackMUST HAVE: Administrative or accounting diploma for an accredited post secondary institutionMUST HAVE: Previous accounting/book keeping experienceMUST HAVE: 3+ years performing administrative support in a retail environmentMUST HAVE: Recent payroll experienceAutomotive industry experience is preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software requiredExperience with Microsoft Dynamics would be considered a definite assetProven organizational and time management skills in order to effectively manage independent work and customer inquiriesExcellent communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationshipsAt Fountain Tire, you’d have a great place to work, competitive compensation, a manager with a large support network, and the chance to learn and grow.
