Your Opportunity:Safe Healthy Environments (SHE) is a dynamic provincial team of public health professionals working to protect and promote the health of Albertans by preventing injury and disease using the Public Health Act, its regulations, and evidence-informed best practices. To support the efficient intake of Albertans questions, complaints, and requests, SHE supports a virtual call centre using the Genesys Cloud platform. Were looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Contact Centre Agent. As the public-facing side of SHE, Contact Centre Agents are often our teams first contact point. Agents answer incoming calls from clients, answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information related to SHE programming and services. This role requires a high level of focus on customer service and clear communication with clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate must be comfortable using client relationship management (CRM) systems to record and assign required work to other SHE team members. With a broad scope of topics within SHEs mandate, the successful candidate will have variety in the types of calls - no two days will ever be alike. Although this position is eligible to work remotely, SHE has structured a strong support system, including onboarding training and ongoing talent development for our agents, no matter where they work.
