Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for an Advisor for our Talent Solutions team to develop and execute customized inclusive talent acquisition strategies for International recruitment. Read on for more details and apply below!Description:As the Advisor, you will take pride in providing expertise and well thought out solutions to complex operational recruitment challenges, often centred on internationally sourcing hard-to-fill positions or chronic shortages. You will be responsible for consulting directly with your clients, gaining a solid understanding of their recruitment needs and challenges, and will utilize your up-to-date recruitment expertise to attract and hire top-quality candidates. This includes gathering and analyzing talent acquisition and internal/external workforce data, collaborating with our marketing team to develop and implement marketing/advertising campaigns, direct sourcing for difficult-to-fill positions, candidate screening, interview support and other recruitment tasks. You will leverage your expert sourcing techniques to define your sourcing criteria and source candidates on media platforms. You will also be responsible to provide comprehensive licensing requirements, immigration process support, and managing international candidates.

Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or another relevant degree (a combination of education and experience may be considered). Have two (2) or more years of professional experience in talent acquisition/recruitment. Have 6 months or more of international recruitment experience.Additional Required Qualifications:Experience creating and implementing recruitment strategies. Experience working with and presenting to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in using business software applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a unionized environment or working with unionized staff.
