Join us!Job SummaryThe Analyst, SAP Data Conversion and Governance contributes to the SAP ecosystem roadmap by planning, executing and providing expertise on data-related activities. The role is instrumental as CN is currently undertaking a large multi-year business transformation program triggered by a SAP ECC to a SAP S/4 HANA product migration.The incumbent works within a multi-disciplinary team and participates in a variety of data activities, namely: profiling, quality assessment and cleansing of master and transactional data objects, including establishment of data cleansing strategies and their implementation; master data mapping, transformation and enrichment, to account for new SAP product data models and business transformation requirements; and data governance and management tasks on approval workflows, configurations and processes to ensure data objects maintain compliance to CN quality standards throughout their lifecycle.The incumbent contributes to data validation runs, troubleshooting, data reconciliation and identification of corrective actions prior to production migrations.The position helps develop skills and experience in setting up and managing best-in-class data pipelines that are becoming essential building block in industries adopting data-centric digital transformation approaches.Main ResponsibilitiesData Profiling and Cleansing – Data-Related Tasks on the “As-Is” Environment – 30%Participates in data objects identification and business rules profilingPerforms data quality assessment and quality metrics reportingParticipates in manual/automated data object cleansing strategies and their implementationCollaborates to the iterative post-cleansing validation and implementation of corrective measuresLeverages off-the-shelf and specialized tools to carry out tasksData Mapping and Transformation - Data-Related Tasks on the “To-Be” Environment – 40%Participates in identification and design of functional data mapping, transformation and enrichment activities and documentation according to the business process re-engineering efforts and new S/4 HANA data structuresImplements sandbox solutions to assess data mapping and transformation methods, including algorithmsPerforms iterative validation runs and implement corrective measures on conversionsLeverages off-the-shelf and specialized tools and conversion platforms to carry out tasksData Governance and Management - Data-Related Tasks on the Data Lifecycle and Enhancements – 30%Identifies, implements, and validates governance workflow and data business rules requirements for master data management, in conjunction with business ownersTakes part in data quality assessment on target systemsImplements data governance roadmap and strategy on specialized data management tools and platformsParticipates in functional designs and documentation, system configuration, and validationMaps enterprise-level data governance requirements into SAP landscapeWorking ConditionsThe role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday.
