Your Opportunity:Description:The Rural West Area Manager, is a key leadership role in Integrated Home Care (IHC) and reports directly to the Director – Integrated Home Care. This position is responsible and accountable for providing the direction, leadership and organization over the activities of the Rural West Home Care team in support of the organizational vision, mission, program priorities and the business plan of Alberta Health Services. This position oversees the Rural West Home Care teams operating out of Cochrane, Canmore and Banff that are servicing the rural west communities within the Calgary Zone. The position is responsible and accountable for making key decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for establishing and contributing to the achievement of the goals of the home care program. The Rural West Area Manager makes key decisions about the allocation and integration of various IHC resources to carry out these activities. A minimum of 5 years healthcare management experience required, Home Care experience preferred.
