Job Description

Shane Homes Group of Companies, a leading residential home builder since 1979, constructing quality new homes in premier communities throughout Calgary & Airdrie has an opening for an Area Manager to join the Sales Team.Who are we looking forThe ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer experience. This position will appeal to someone with flexibility and a lifestyle that allows them to work during Showhome hours and for those looking for a challenge. The successful candidate will report to the Vice-President of Sales, Marketing, and Interior DesignKey Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing the customer relationship from beginning to end with a strong focus in providing outstanding customer experience
  • Actively hunt for new leads and prospects, along with closing and writing deals
  • Update CRM on a regular basis
  • Showcase the features and benefits of Shane Homes to potential customers
  • Maintain accuracy, control and flow of all required documents on a daily basis
  • Remain current on competitive sales data and inventory
  • Identify and acquire new customers through telephone and in-person communication
  • Assist in the ongoing development of sales and systems
  • Attend bi-monthly sales meetings at Shane Homes head office and additional training
  • Participate in grand openings and community events
  • Build and maintain relationships within the new home industry (example. Realtors, mortgage brokers etc.)
  • Support marketing plans (example. social media activities)
Essential Requirements;
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in new home sales
  • Must have a positive attitude and a team player mentality
  • Previous experience in custom home building will be considered an asset
  • Be knowledgeable with job site safety policy
  • Highly organized and self disciplined
  • Driven, ambitious, and eager to thrive
  • Ability to positively contribute to company culture
  • Exceptional computer skills (DocuSign, CRM, Microsoft Suite)
  • Previous success selling value over price
  • Must have strong sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
