Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:What You Will Be DoingDaily truck sampling of hot mix and delivery back to laboratorySampling and testing of aggregates and RAP from crushing operationsPerform Laboratory testing following ASTM test proceduresCommunicate results to QA SupervisorRecord and document test results in Microsoft ExcelOther duties as assigned by the Quality Control SupervisorRequirementsWhat We Would Like From YouMust be able to lift up to 50+ lbs or 23+ kgsMinimum Class 5 Driver’s License with clean Driving RecordMust be willing and flexible to regularly work some overtime, weekends, and occasional night workAbility to work safely and maintain daily documentation as per BURNCO policiesAbility to work in a team atmosphere and follow instructionsBesides the Above, Preference Will Be Given Applicants Who PossessPrevious asphalt testing experienceHigh proficiency with Excel and WordExcellent math and writing abilitiesAbility to work with minimal supervision and are highly motivatedExcellent communication and organizational skillsIMPORTANT: For safety reasons, this position requires the selected applicant to successfully pass background checks that may include criminal, drug and alcohol, and a physical assessment test.
