The BBA - Finance major offers two concentration choices, including Financial Analysis and Financial Services, to students. Students completing the Financial Analysis concentration are well prepared to pursue a Chartered Financial Analyst ® (CFA) designation upon graduation. After completion of all courses in the Financial Services concentration, students are prepared to write the examinations leading to the Certified Financial Planner ® (CFP) designation.About the RoleThe Department of Accounting and Finance in the Bissett School of Business at MRU invites applications for a tenure-track position in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position will commence on July 1, 2023. This position will be hired into the Teaching-Scholarship-Service (TSS) work pattern. The TSS work pattern has a focus on teaching (the equivalent of six classes per academic year), conducting scholarly research, and providing academic service. The selected candidate will teach introductory and advanced level courses such as, but not limited to, investments, portfolio management, financial planning, international finance, financial management or financial risk management.The successful candidate will become an integral member of our Finance team, and can expect to meaningfully contribute to departmental priorities and activities.
