Your Opportunity:Within the Edmonton Zone: Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking a clinical professional interested in directly contributing to the strategic direction and priorities of Continuing Care in Alberta for the role of Clinical Auditor, Continuing Care Audit. This is a key position in the Provincial Continuing Care Audit Team. As a Clinical Auditor, you will conduct audits of compliance with the Continuing Care Health Service Standards (CCHSS) at continuing care sites within the North Sector. The sites include Long term Care, Supportive Living, Homecare, Hospice and Adult Day support programs. Using your strong communication skills and working collaboratively with various stakeholders at all levels, you will provide insight and recommendations based on your audit observations. All Non-Union/Exempt positions are being reviewed for possible inclusions in the AUPE General Support Services bargaining unit. If this position is impacted, the incumbent will be notified accordingly.Description:Reporting to the Team Lead, Continuing Care Audit, you will: Manage your assigned audits according to the audit schedule. Ensure the quality of your audit work. Participate in presentations to continuing care site management, quality teams and contracted service providers to gain consensus and influence change. Participate in committees and work groups related to continuing care audits. Significant travel will be required within Alberta. Possession of a valid driver’s license, a clean driver’s abstract and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel is required for this position.
