We encourage everyone to bring forward their own ideas, solutions, and remain committed to navigating through constant change.Job descriptionRevel Auto Works is seeking a talented Automotive Service Technician for immediate hire. Revel Auto Works repairs and maintains all makes and models, with a focus on Domestic and import Cars, Trucks, SUVs, and Vans. The technician is expected to be independent, resourceful, and experienced in all types of diagnostic and repair procedures. They are well-versed in complex mechanical or electrical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. The selected candidate must possess a positive, friendly attitude and be an excellent communicator in order to provide advice to customers and interact with suppliers.Duties and Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):

• Conduct diagnostic procedures to identify the cause of automotive issues and make accurate recommendations
• Perform repairs that coincide with diagnostic recommendations
• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, which could include oil change, tire rotation, battery installation, headlight and taillight bulb replacements
• Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices
• Maintain vehicle paperwork and customer records
• Ensure equipment longevity
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Keep detailed records of all parts, fluids, and time spent for each project
• Accurately document all information about vehicles during the intake process

Qualifications for Auto Technician

• Journeyman/Journeywoman License (preferred), 3rd and 4th year apprentices with substantial industry experience will also be considered
• 3+ years experience in relevant field
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions precisely
• Skilled in the operation of shop machinery (tire machine, wheel alignment machine etc.)
• Knowledge of OBD1 and OBD2
• Familiar with Autel or other similar diagnostic systems
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean driving record
• The ability to work overhead and bend over for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Provide own hand/power tools and appropriate safety footwear
• Capable of carefully and safely driving both standard and automatic vehicles

Expected start date: 2022-01-10Job Types: Full-time, PermanentAdditional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
