Douglas Homes is a large volume home builder building in Calgary and the surrounding areas. We are excited to say that our company is growing, and we are in search of a motivated, organized, hard-working individual with excellent customer service skills to join our team and grow with us. We will have opportunities for growth and advancement long-term in this position. - Bin Truck Operator / Driver to service our large garbage bins located in Cochrane, Airdrie and Chestermere- Drive a bin truck and pick up bins as needed and/or scheduled (Class 5 License only needed - single axle)- Perform tasks as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Construction Manager- Prepare sites for various construction tasks and assist with those in progress- Keep jobsites safe and clean- Report any problems, damage, hazardous conditions, and oversights to superintendent- Help superintendent receive material deliveries- De-ice, shovel snow, and supply heat to homes under construction in winter- Install and remove temporary sidewalks and stairwell railings- Keep model homes tidy. Make repairs as necessaryRequirements: - Some related experience and/or construction knowledge would be an asset- Class 5 drivers license is a must, experience driving large vehicles is an asset- Drivers abstract will be required- Excellent customer service and proven communication skills- Strong organization and time management skills- Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines- Must have a demonstrated positive and proactive approach and be prepared to be flexible in the work performedWe appreciate your application, but only qualified candidates will be contacted.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $20.00-$25.00 per hourSchedule:
