In this role, you will monitor and adjust building equipment to ensure maximum efficiency. With a customer service-focused mindset, you will also ensure all tenant and operation teams’ requests are completed promptly.As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:Meter readings, daily readings, water treatment, and building operations via the building automation system for optimum energy savings.Basic programming understanding, scheduling and commanding of equipmentMaintenance on all mechanical equipment including monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks (Augus Systems)Monitoring the building automation system to ensure tenant comfort and to ensure systems are running at maximum efficiencyContacting and managing 3rd party contractors for quotes for projects and repairsResponding to tenant calls through 310-maxx within targeted time requirements.Assisting Chief Engineer with Energy Initiatives such as LEED, ASHRAE etc…Responsible for Material and supplies ordering.Conduct continuous inspections for operation and aesthetics.Conduct monthly testing for Fire Alarm systems and Emergency Systems at 0xford Place.Miscellaneous repairs and installations in tenant spaces.To succeed in this role, you:Possess 2-5 years’ experience of high-rise building operations and maintenance.Education: minimum high school diploma.Certification: preference will be given to candidates who have Power Engineering certification and/or are willing to pursue such certification leveraging Oxford’s educational assistance program.Have worked with HVAC systems, Preventative Maintenance, and Fire & Life Safety Systems, and nice to have; experience with BAS Controls eg. ALC, and Reliable Systems.Knowledge of building systems and controls, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, and experience with Pneumatic and DDC automation systems would be an asset.Thrive in organizations that constantly evolve and adapt.
