This position will require some physical activity such as lifting of boxes, pulling carts and deliveries throughout the towers. This position requires occasional evening and weekend work to accommodate event set-ups.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responding to 310-SERV requests, completion of minor repairs and tenant requestsDelivery of construction materials to contractors upon requestMaintain inventory of interior and exterior signage, marketing materials (easels, stanchions etc)Maintenance and repairs of signage, signage placement and installationResponsible for the set-up and take down of events within the interior and exterior of Fifth Avenue PlacePerform regular inspectionsLoading dock coverage when neededEmbody and support Brookfield Properties’ Safety, Health and Environment Policy.Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate hazards to reduce risk to the workplace.Engage in training and continuing education to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to work safely.Take action to stop work if it cannot be executed safely or if conditions or behaviours are unsafe.Immediately report SH&E incidents, near-misses, unsafe conditions, and/or at-risk behaviours to their supervisor; then diligently work to correct the problem.Promote safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with all Brookfield Properties Safe Work Procedures.Wear Personal Protective Equipment when requiredOther duties as assignedSERVICE / PERSONAL SKILLS:This energetic position, located in Fifth Avenue Place, requires an individual with superior customer service and good organizational skills.
