The chosen applicant will gain practical experience and be responsible for writing, testing, and debugging code, reports, and other data outputs, improving systems operations and working on projects with other engineers.Responsibilities:

• Be an active and collaborative team member in an Agile development team of 2-6 people.
• Provide support to the field and office staff with their issue related to advanced Excel files, Power Apps, and Power BI reports. Other technologies may arise as required.
• Take ownership of development tasks, including analysis, design, development, testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Produce high-quality work, always following standards such as unit testing, integration tests and documented code.
• Create or optimize data stores, data analysis and data outputs such as dashboards or reports.
• Participate in complete software lifecycle management for software applications, including initiation, planning, development, testing, implementation, and support of software solutions.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program such as Information Technology, Engineering, Finance or Business Administration
• Familiar with products in the Microsoft ecosystem such as Office 365, Azure, Power Platform (e.g., Power Automate and PowerBI)
• Data analytics, data science and/or visualization experience is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of VBA is considered an asset.
• Exposure to the entire software development lifecycle
• Experience with SQL scripting is a plus.
