We are currently Looking for a enthusiastic individual to join our team for 10 weeks in the role of a Finance Clerk as part of the Canada summer job grant program.**Kids U has won the Gold Winner status for the Calgary Herald/Sun Readers choice awards! Best Daycare & Best Preschool 2021 !**The role of this position will be to support Leadership across different functions of the organization such as but not limited to the following categories and lead/support project(s) in one or more categories:Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Calculate, prepare, and issue documents relating to accounting, billing, and other financial statements using computerized and manual systems
  • Monitor accounts daily
  • Identify outstanding accounts receivables
  • Enter, verify, and reconcile transactional payments such as cheques, cash, and bank statement transactions
  • Respond to customer inquiries, whilst maintain good customer relationships solving
  • Contact customers in relation to their overdue payments
  • Ensuring of timely and accurate billing
  • Utilizing computerized and manual processes
  • Working within in a team, local and remotely
  • Reconciling subsidy payments
  • Use of QuickBooks
The successful role holder will need to have a positive attitude, quick thinking, problem solving and customer service skills and the ability to fulfill competing priorities.This position is a part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program with funding provided by Service Canada. Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered:
  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person on whom refugee protections has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
  • And legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial legislation and regulations (international students on a work/study permit are not eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs Program)
