We place ourselves as one of Calgarys premier Cannabis destinations with many regulars but also has a great reputation as a dispensary of choice for both tourists and Calgarians. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, excels in customer service, is detail oriented, and excels at leading a team. FivePoint Store/Operations Manager: The Store Manager reports directly to the company directors and General Manager. The store manager is directly responsible for the companys day-to-day operations, including generating revenue and controlling costs. Our store manager is expected to improve efficiency and increase profits while managing the overall operations. The Store Manager supervises keyholders and budtenders and knows how to delegate tasks. Skills needed include great customer service, general operations, budgeting, attention to detail, cash handling, and inventory management. As the face of the store, the store manager embodies FivePoint culture and exemplifies great customer service.Responsibilities include: The main responsibility of the store manager is maintaining FivePoints vision, reputation, and profitability.

  • Creating budgets,
  • Provide leadership to all employees of FivePoint.
  • Assist with hiring and training staff, including evaluations, disciplining, dismissal and advancing.
  • Ensure ongoing staff education on Cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods;
  • Delegating tasks to lower-level staff and management,
  • Review employee performance regularly and maintain employee records;
  • Oversee and maintain inventory control system and performance of required product counts;
  • Coordinate and facilitate all transactions and operations of Point of Sale (POS) system;
  • Record keeping including product recalls, returns, discounts, adding new products to the POS system, recording purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of pricing, and product listings;
  • Optimizing and creating policies;
  • Creating performance reports and meeting with upper management and company directors;
  • Adhering to regulations and store policy;
  • Manage and inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer service and experience;
  • Ensure safety and satisfaction of all customers and employees;
  • Liaise with law enforcement, AGLC Inspectors, and local community as needed;
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of all strains and products in store inventory as well as industry-wide product and trend knowledge;
  • Maintain relationships with Licensed Producer Representatives, AGLC inspectors, and other preferred vendors.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with a minimum 1 year in retail or hospitality management experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales setting
  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or related field preferred
Qualified Cannabis Worker Certification (AGLC) required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as working knowledge of Google platforms
  • Experience training others in using Point of Sale systems
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable time management
  • Strong understanding of key performance indicators and strategies to improve.

  • Minimum 18 years of age
