Full-time, permanent role based in Calgary, AB, Canada

We make sure being part of the team at Cask is awesome.What will you be doingThis is a dual position providing technical training and service. You will be responsible for performing timely and accurate technical services to our customers, such as installation, commissioning, troubleshooting or repair to packaging equipment.This role is paramount to the success of our customers. You dont stay in business for as long as we have if taking care of your customers doesnt mean everything to you.25% Technical Training (On-Site)
  • Customer technical training on canning equipment, including commissioning and operations
  • Teaching best practices for operation and quality packaging
  • Travel to customer site on average one week per month (domestic and international)
50% Technical Training (Virtual)
  • Customer technical training on canning equipment, including commissioning and operations
  • Provide ongoing education for canning equipment optimization
  • Serve in an advisory role on best service and maintenance practices
25% Technical Service
  • Live diagnostics on electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
  • Advise on parts and service for continued optimization of canning equipment performance

Skills and qualifications:
  • Electrical, mechanical or automation technology education or equivalent work experience
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including Beckhoff
  • SAP / SOP knowledge
  • Experience in a technical service role with an emphasis on customer service
  • Willingness to learn software, including CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office, Virtual Communication tools (Zoom, WhatsApp, FaceTime)
  • Multi-lingual is an asset
  • Ability to travel, both domestic and international. Must have a valid passport and drivers license with a clean driving record
