Chinook Chemdry’s Field Technician Job DescriptionAt Chinook Chemdry, we are leaders in carpet and upholstery cleaning. Using our unique Hot Carbonated Extraction process, which leaves clean and sanitized carpets ready to use in 2-3 hours. You will also receive theory training through our on-line courses.The time-frame to become a full technician depends on your willingness to learn the processes, ability to operate the equipment, and your skills interacting with customers.Your wage to start during training will be $18.00 per hour and at least 30 hours per week.Wages will increase as your responsibilities and training progresses in the short term.As soon as you get into a van by yourself, with your equipment, you will receive 20% of your sales, plus tips and bonuses. And income will be better as you become more and more confident in your job.The responsibilities are: - Perform quality work consistently and at an acceptable pace- Be reliable, reporting to work on time- Mix and use chemicals and equipment as directed- Perform routine maintenance on equipment- Properly prepare rooms to be cleaned and perform basic post-cleaning procedures- Refer all cleaning questions to the carpet care manager- Familiarity using GPS to find addresses in Calgary and surrounding area- Measure rooms, calculate square footage and price services. Ability to pass 1 and 2-star Chemdry’s on-line achievement tests.- Attendance at all training sessions and employee meetings as required- Shop clean up and maintenance- Launder towels used on the job- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedMust be: - Easy going and have a positive attitude- Willing to be all-in when it comes to customer satisfaction- Detailed oriented- Dedicated and hardworking- Physically fitMust-Have: - Valid driver’s license- Fluent English- Clean RCMP criminal record check.
