Clinical Program Supervisor - CounsellingCalgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA) is the primary sexual violence service provider for Calgary and surrounding areas. We are a dynamic service delivery agency that offers a dual mandate of clinical and education programs. CCASA is seeking a Clinical Program Supervisor - Counselling to join our team. This individual will be one of two Counselling Program Supervisors and will work closely with CCASA’s Supervisory Team and the Clinical Program Director to oversee the agency’s counselling services. This individual will also provide individual and group counselling, crisis intervention, advocacy, and referrals to clients accessing our services. We are looking for a compassionate, dynamic, and flexible individual who is able to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.Responsibilities of the Clinical Program Supervisor - Counselling include:Directly supervise, train, mentor and support Sexual Violence Therapists and ensure appropriate level of staffing for all Clinical programsContribute to and maintain a positive and healthy work environmentCarry a partial caseload of clients providing trauma specialized counselling to individuals ages 12+ impacted by sexual violenceAssist other Clinical Program Supervisors in the recruitment, mentoring, onboarding, and training of new staffExamine difficult situations that arise through an ethical service delivery lens and work toward creating solutions for challenging ethical areasLiaise with all CCASA Supervisors and Directors to help ensure proper linkages and policies occur across programs and the agencyProvide support and crisis intervention as part of back-up coverage for CCASA’s Support & Information Line and Alberta’s One Line for Sexual Violence, as well as to individuals accessing the Calgary Sexual Assault Response Team (CSART)Participate in a number of on-call shifts after hours over the course of the year as part of a rotationAssist with monitoring program outcomes and organizational report writingAssist with program development as needed and with logistical and organizational tasks
