This all starts with providing accurate and up to date information for our clients through our bookkeeping division.The entire firm operates online: our skilled team of remote experts use proven, industry leading apps and technology to help our clients achieve their goals. You will have the opportunity to work with a great group of professionals in a firm that truly values work life balance.Our bookkeeping division is expanding, and we are looking to add a full time, experienced Cloud Bookkeeper to our team. We are looking for someone with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and has the motivation to work from anywhere! This role is open to anyone in Canada.Does this sound like you

  • 3+ years of full cycle bookkeeping experience in Canada
  • Accounting diploma, or equivalent from post-secondary institution
  • Tech savvy: you have experience working with cloud software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Dext, Wagepoint, and Plooto
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required
  • Results orientated: you always support your client’s success as though it’s your own
  • Self-motivated: you thrive while working independently from your home office
  • All about the details

  • Great communicator (both verbal and written)

  • Effectively manage time to work with a variety of clients simultaneously and meet deadlines
What will you be doingYou will work with various entrepreneurs to provide end-to-end service for their business, becoming their go to contact for anything related to bookkeeping. Specific tasks may include (but are not limited to):
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable
  • Payroll entry and administration
  • Sales tracking and reporting
  • HST, WSIB, EHT calculation and remittance on a monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis depending on client reporting requirements
  • Contacting app partners to resolve issues with apps and client accounts
  • Continuous monitoring of client processes to ensure we are providing excellent customer service and up to date information
