Job Description

Who we are: SPRECOM Inc. founded in 2002 and created the Communications Infrastructure Property Management (CIPM) industry, which is centered on their core values (Expertise, Openness, Leadership and Facilitation). Today, our CIPM program operates in all types of commercial buildings with a clear focus on our dream, to build a mutually beneficial bridge between the building management and telecom industries.Who we’re looking for: SPRECOM is looking for a caring, qualified person to join our team. Your position is essential to helping SPRECOM achieve its dream. This person will seek to continually learn, develop, and work hard to help improve themselves and SPRECOM. You need to have the essential qualifications and abilities outlined below.Essential Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Minimum of five (5) years telecommunications field experience
  • Professional telecommunications certification (or ability to become certified)
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the telecommunications industry
  • Working knowledge of installations, modifications and repairs of telecommunications network systems and equipment including pulling, installing and terminating copper cable of all types. Fibre optic experience is an asset
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally, and in writing, to convey technical information in non-technical terms
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset through flexibility and a willingness to learn
  • High degree of accuracy and precision
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of office products
  • Available for scheduled out of town work as required < 5%
  • Ability to conduct a background check (may be required to access some client sites)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct building evaluations by documenting and reporting all relative telecom assets and information;
  • Installation and maintenance of SPRECOM Controlled Access (SCA) units;
  • Conduct communications infrastructure (CI) situation assessments and recommend solutions to the appropriate parties;
  • Conduct CI Conditions inspections and provide Reports;
  • Audit building CI Core Spaces to ensure telecom databases are current and accurate;
  • Ensure telecom service provider (TSP) installations meet approved plans and scope of work and document final installations;
  • Gather and review SPRECOM Controlled Access data logs;
  • Preparation of reports and documents for building management and TSPs; and
  • Maintenance of project databases and asset records.

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $45,840.00-$75,081.00 per yearBenefits:
