About MRUFounded in 1910 and located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Mount Royal University grew into a vibrant college in the 1930s and became a mid-sized university in 2009. Mount Royal has carved out a distinct niche by offering smaller class sizes, a robust liberal education and unique undergraduate programs. Reporting to the Director, Communications, your role as a Communications Strategist is key to promoting and enhancing Mount Royal University’s reputation. You will provide communications support to a variety of clients, including Continuing Education, as part of a larger team that advances the goals of the University through centralized and coordinated communications.You’re not only an accomplished communication professional with strong writing and editing skills, you’re also knowledgeable about all things web and social media as well as communications best practices.This role requires exceptional skills as a project manager and the ability to work hand-in-hand with others on the marketing communications team.MRU is committed to maintaining and further developing a diverse campus.
