Bow River Paving, part of the Trotter & Morton Group of Companies, has been providing asphalt paving services for private and commercial projects in Alberta since 1991. Our operations also include grading, gravelling, and snow removal services.Bow River is currently looking to hire a Concrete Construction Labourer who will contribute to our team of dedicated personnel by bringing their experience and high-quality workmanship to every project.Roles and ResponsibilitiesUse a variety of construction and labour tools to assist where neededAssist with concrete and asphalt cutting, form setting, shoveling, rough rake, and finish rakePerform a variety of labour jobs on-siteAdhere to safety precautions at all timesCommunicate with co-workers to perform work safely and effectivelyRequired SkillsStrong attention to detailPride in quality workmanshipAbility to follow instructionsAbility to work as part of a teamRequired ExperienceConcrete and roadwork knowledgePrevious construction experience would be a definite assetValid driver’s license would be an asset (abstract may be requested)Additional RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 50lbs.Ability to work outside, on uneven ground, for long periods of time in different weather conditionsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and crouch for long periods of timeThe position often requires overtime and can be seasonal in natureTravel may be requiredThis is a full-time, permanent position.
