Job Description

Are you a leader in construction project planning, performance analysis, and reporting Are you experienced in project lifecycle reporting and project controls Do you have extensive site-based experience and enjoy working with industry leading clients on best-in-class projects Wed like to meet you.We are seeking a proactive, highly motivated individual to support advisory services for international clients, The successful candidate will act as an advisor to current and new clients. They will create deliverables including technical analysis frameworks, Power BI dashboards, and presentations. They will conduct detailed and extensive analysis and write technical reports. This role is dynamic and fast-paced. Every day we make a positive impact on our industry.The PositionWe are currently recruiting a Construction Advisor - Project Reporting Specialist to join our team. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of thought leaders to provide organizational and project-based consulting services.

  • Location: Calgary, Alberta
  • Travel Required: Yes
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with some evenings and weekends

Education and Experience
  • Education
    • Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
    • Project management certification is an asset (SCPM, PMP)
    • P6 certification is an asset
    • Power BI certification is an asset
  • Experience
    • Well-versed in construction project planning and coordination
    • Experience developing and documenting business requirements
    • Well-versed in project controls best practices (scheduling, cost management)
    • Experience in developing, maintaining, and interpreting project schedules
    • 5 years of on-site project experience
    • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
    • Experience analyzing large datasets
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Defining and documenting project challenges and areas of success
  • Documenting business reporting needs
  • Working with stakeholders to obtain reporting requirements, input, and feedback
  • Attending meetings
  • Providing guidance and advice on areas of subject matter expertise
  • Developing dashboard mockups
  • Performing data analysis and documenting findings
  • Delivering presentations to project teams
  • Working with leadership teams to support project operations
  • Identifying areas of potential improvement and creating proposals for innovation or process optimization
