If you are looking for a company with a family dynamic, where you can have opportunities to grow and be challenged, then come and join us!We are looking for a Construction Manager for our Multifamily Division who will be responsible for the construction of all of our multi-family apartment-style buildings. Multiple PMs will report to this role and the entire construciton organization will report in through through to this role. Our buildings are typically 4 - 6 floors, wood frame with SOG or suspended slab parkade. This position will be based locally where our projects are in Calgary.Most ImportantWe are looking for individuals who have 10+ years experience as a Site Super on an apartment stacked-style multifamily building working for a General Contractor or developer. The successful candidate will have started and finished at least five of these buildings as a Site Super and have CM experience. If you only have single family or townhouse experience, this job is not for you, unfortunately. Similarly, if you have experience as a Site Super for a subcontractor, this job is also not for you. Thank you for understanding.Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the construction team from initiation to hand over on project completion.
• Pre-con work
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with site staff, sub-trades, consultants, engineers and regional authorities, while maintaining a strong presence and involvement in all site activities;
• Accountable for schedule, quality and budget;
• Establish and maintain quality control measures;
• Manage relationships with all sub-contractors, identify any scope of work issues and implement measures to proactively address emerging quality issues.
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel on site.
• Hire, develop and ensure success of team

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years leadership experience
• Minimum of 10 years site super experience
• Understanding of the AB Building Code;
• Knowledge of construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, procedures, scheduling and cost control;
• Demonstrated competence in the areas of safety, people management, project execution, cost control, quality, and administration;
• Previous experience working in a multi-family residential construction environment is an asset;
• A positive attitude and ability to build a constructive team environment on the work site;
• Desire to search out opportunities to learn new things and to support the learning of others;
• Considers quality and accomplishes tasks with an eye on the finished product;
