Your Opportunity:The Health Information Management (HIM) Project & Business Solutions team is looking for an individual with advanced skills and knowledge to support complex projects, procedures, practices or initiatives within HIM. Good knowledge of the HIM Access and Disclosure domain of practice as well as other HIM domains is required. The incumbent will work within a provincial team fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders. This role requires a high degree of independent work and collaboration with HIM and AHS clinical and business operations teams to: Coordinate resources and engage stakeholders throughout the province Track, monitor and report on decision making related to standardization and governance of information access activities in alignment with the Health Information Act (HIA). Support program documentation and identification of risks and issues. Draft workflow process diagrams and other documentation. Navigate process and workflow approval pathways. Draft briefing notes, decision requests, change requests, PowerPoints, etc. Health informatics and project coordination expertise is key to be effective in this role. Knowledge of applicable Alberta legislation and ability to interpret and apply it is a key skillset.
