Weve grown to over 150 team members in two years, serving hundreds of patients each month, and are continuing to grow rapidly.Our first brand, Freddie, is focused on improving sexual health through education, prevention and treatment with a focus on the LGBTQ2S+ community—were now the largest HIV prevention service in Canada! Our second brand, Frida, is focused on improving mental health and happiness through education, diagnosis and treatment. Best of all—we have fun doing it.Who we hope to find:We are looking for a Content Specialist to join our Frida marketing team to support the Head of Content and Community in developing and creating content for our social channels, supporting our patient communities, as well as building up and organizing our creator roster. The Content Specialist will be involved in strategic initiatives and work closely with members of the marketing team, as well as other cross-functional teams across Frida to ensure Fridas brand, values, and ethos are consistently showcased across our communication touchpoints.If you are passionate about mental health and working with a value-aligned team, wed love to talk to you. This is a remote position that is open to candidates across Canada.In this role, youll make an impact by:

  • Supporting the Head of Content and Community in bringing Fridas Content Strategy and Plan to life across Frida social channels and newsletter
  • Creating and maintaining the Frida editorial calendar across social channels, blog, and newsletter
  • Coordinating with content creators and organizing scheduled content to serve our audience
  • Identifying up-and-coming content creators and continuing to build out public social profiles and communities in line with brand values and guidelines
  • Managing the relationship with our social media agency (alongside our Head of Content and Community) to brainstorm, plan, review and track content
  • Analyzing the results and performance of content, and use those insights to inform future content development (including pulling weekly TikTok data to track engagements and key metrics for future optimization)
  • Researching and coordinating with other Frida departments to build a base of credible knowledge and information to base our content on
  • Participating in marketing and social media reporting meetings and gaining familiarization with company dashboard reports
  • Responding to non-medical comments on Frida-owned social channels in response to posts and ads (and coordinating with Patient Care team on medically-based questions)
  • Working with our designer to create design templates and individual design assets to support newsletters
  • Collaborating with clinical and CSS/PC teams as needed for interviews, team features, and Q&As
We need someone who has:
  • A Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Event Management or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success in managing social media content and profiles
  • Adaptable copywriting skills—youll need to speak in a tone/voice that aligns with Fridas values and brand strategy
  • Superior communication and conflict-resolution skills that focus on empathy and being a good listener
  • An analytical mindset—youre constantly measuring the quantitative and qualitative impact of your work
  • Strong design acumen and eye for design
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • The ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
It would also be great if you:
  • Have 2-3 years experience in a fast growing startup
  • Are comfortable with spreadsheets and tools such as Figma, Canva, Notion
  • Feel passionate about the healthcare space and serving under-served communities
  • Have a strong interest in supporting ADHD and neurodivergent communities
