  • Act as a thought-leader within the Digital Marketing discipline at Arcane and educate their peers on strategic thinking.
  • Provide DM Leadership, strategy and oversight of two of Canada’s top tier eCommerce brands, acting as the main DM point of contact and strategist for those accounts.
  • Help to oversee media spend tracking across the agency to ensure limited risk for Arcane.
  • Participate in monthly DM knowledge share meetings, facilitating conversation and encouraging creative and critical thinking.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reviews of campaigns and strategies for clients and provide insights and strategic recommendations to the team and/or to the clients.
  • Oversee and provide thought leadership for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), annual account plans, strategy presentations, as needed, for clients.
  • Prepare media plans, projections, and marketing strategies to meet and exceed client goals.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports to solve client-specific problems, or uncover opportunities.
  • Facilitate cross-discipline collaboration and refine marketing strategies for success with other team leaders.
  • Support the Sales team in pursuing new business opportunities for the agency.
  • Analyze the outcomes and performance of campaigns and offer insights and impactful recommendations for clients.
  • Provide creative digital marketing solutions to maximize return on investment, identifying opportunities of retainer and project revenue growth in existing accounts.
  • Research emerging trends and opportunities in digital marketing and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Our Ideal Qualifications & Skills
  • 5+ years in a digital advertising role.
  • In-platform expert with Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube), Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, and other core Digital Marketing channels.
  • Experience with SEO, email marketing, as well as buying ads through DSPs like The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, direct paid campaign management on platforms like Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and others.
  • Experience with paid media planning and paid digital marketing strategy.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, paid social media and/or paid display digital advertising campaigns.
  • Analytical thinking – can translate data into actionable insight; critical thinker and problem solver. Ability to translate strategies and turn complex ideas into practical, actionable marketing campaigns across multiple projects.
  • A strong technical background with the ability to manipulate datasets into digestible formats such as presentations, executive summaries, and other data dissemination products.
  • Highly creative thinker with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, motivate, and convert.
  • Problem-solving mentality, with a constant focus on finding new and innovative solutions to both customer and company challenges.
  • Strong business acumen with a high sense of curiosity to drive the business forward and grow.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment with limited oversight.
