Job Description

We currently have a full-time contract (6 months) Floater Dining Attendant position open with Silvera. Successful candidate must be able to work at different Silvera Communities.Shift start times may vary between 7:00am – 3:30pm or 10:30am – 7:00pm.Find meaningful work with seniors.Enjoy working on a high-performance team while making a difference in the lives of independent seniors.Choose to work at one of our many communities across Calgary.Benefit from flexible hours, healthcare coverage and a pension plan.Reporting to the Dining Services Supervisor, this position provides support services to the Dining Services team in the preparation and delivery of food.Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible to serve meals and beverages in a polite and professional manner, responsible for food preparation and clean up duties in the kitchen.
  • Responsible for the daily/weekly cleaning, cleaning and setting up the dining room and staff room
  • Completes documentation of required tasks
  • Reports any unsafe work conditions to the Community Manager or designate
  • Responsible to assist with the receiving and stocking of all food, non-food supplies, and chemicals
  • Other duties as assigned
