Seasons of Bowness Park is currently seeking an individual to join our team as aDining Room Manager.We are a year round operation located inside one of Calgarys largest and most historically significant parks.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Dining Room Manager reports to the Owner and is responsible for the maintenance and organization of the dining room at all times. The Dining Room Manager will plan, coordinate and direct activities of the dining room staff and will always strive to promote a friendly work environment and an exemplary dining experience for our guests.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for all Seasons employees and guests-Ensure open and effective communication amongst staff-Actively participate in all positions and duties within the department to assist staff ensuring efficient service. Willfully fulfilling any of the positions during peak times to maintain effective and efficient operations- Ensure effective and efficient communication between foh and all departments-scheduling – ensuring adequate staff coverage at all times-staffing – maintaining high level of qualified staff, hiring, dismissing-liquor inventory control including ordering and receiving-serve as a liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff.-train and evaluate employees-resolve customers complaints concerning food, beverages, and service-assisting guests with special requests, and directing efficient dining room service-overseeing the planning and execution of all private functionsQualifications: The successful candidate will have a desire to learn and is a dedicated enthusiastic, outgoing individual with a passion to provide exceptional service and thrive off working with other likeminded co-workers to create an extraordinary culinary experience.
