This role is an exciting opportunity to build on existing knowledge and develop skills in Freight Management. This role requires someone with a priority to customer service, strong communications skills, and the flexibility to adapt in highly dynamic situations.Bremic Carriers is an asset-based transportation company servicing western Canada. Our Roll-Tite Flatbed division provides best in class multidrop distribution of specialized commodities throughout the Lower Mainland, Okanagan and Kootenay regions of BC, and southern Alberta.Our customers are accustomed to receiving a premium, high-touch, value-added service in challenging conditions. Our Drivers and Coordinators work as a team to ensure our customers’ needs are exceeded through a highly emphasized safety culture and work ethic.Primary Roles and Responsibilities- Analyze weekly Production Schedules and monitor output of finished goods- Monitor inbound rail shipments of raw materials and finished goods- Prioritize Delivery of Finished Goods- Load Planning- Optimize trips to meet customers’ requirements and maximize equipment utilization- Manage Delivery Schedule- Proactively monitor Drivers progressSecondary Roles and Responsibilities- Identify gaps and source supplementary freight to maximize equipment utilization- Manage Partner Carriers, as required- Driver SupportRequirements- Highly developed communication skills- Experience in managing BC fleets- Able to adapt quickly to last minute changes- Taking ownership and accountability- Highly detail oriented with an ability to identify gaps in information- Highly personable and customer service oriented- Maintain and enhance existing company culture and moraleJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per yearSchedule:
