Role: Electrical Panel Shop Assembler – Portland St. FacilityCompany: Located in Calgary and privately owned, Scott Springfield Mfg. Inc. Supported by a network of independent sales agents across North America, SSM operates two production facilities with different production scenarios at two different locations within the Calgary area. To support its growth and expansion, SSM is looking to add a Panel Shop Assembler to the Production team.Essential Functions: As a Panel Shop Assembler, you will be accountable to:· Perform tasks assigned to them in a safe manner and in accordance with our Health & Safety Policies, JHA’s & SWP’s.· Responsible to understand and follow all Company Policies and Rules.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Interpret Wiring schematics· Ability to interpret Electrical Code and ensure compliance· Detail oriented· Follow part and component details· Good hand eye Coordination· Monitor production schedule and report anything that may impact schedule either in a positive or negative way· Compare job parts received against BOM· Review drawings and parts, notifying Engineering of any errors that require correcting· Request parts from warehouse· Build panels· Ensure quality standards and procedures are met and followed· Terminate wiring in panels· Ensure safety policies are met and followed· Support continuous improvement efforts· Perform continuity checks on panels· Print wire tags for electrical department· Mark up electrical drawings and deliver to Engineering for creation of As-built drawings· Work with parts department and Engineering to solve parts issues regarding panels· Maintain tools, and tool PM sheets in panel shopHow to Apply: Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply in confidence to Human Resources.
