The TeamThe Canada IT Services team, headed by the Americas Chief Information Officer, works in line with the global and Canadian IT plans to deliver a robust and achievable technology roadmap enabling the firms growth and to drive consistency and operational excellence.The RoleThe EUC Analyst reports to the EUC Manager, is responsible for developing and operating of Canadian EUC services, and supports regional and global work efforts and projects. This includes all EUC elements (e.g. assets, suppliers, policies, controls and processes) and PKI management.This position delves in infrastructure applications, including Active Directory, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Windows server update services (WSUS), Mobileiron, and printer services, and supports regional and global work efforts and projects.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the effective and efficient operation of all EUC services, owning the service specific operating models and capabilities and integration with wider global and regional service delivery.Support the IT strategic drive to build once, shared by all across service, standard and process.Providing 2nd and 3rd-line support for the production services by addressing live issues that require a configuration change or which the higher level support teams have been unable to resolve.Assist the Enterprise Architecture team in the design and integration of EUC solutions.Work with Solution Architects and project teams to ensure understanding of solutions.Build and leverage relationships with 3rd-party suppliers ensuring a leading understanding of EUC technology and service opportunities.Develop and maintain a strong understanding of EUC technologies, services and capabilities deployed within the firm.Execute projects and tasks related to end user computing and relative systems.Apply the firms Infosec best practices and policies aligned with ISO 27001.Optimize and consolidate technologies, services and suppliers.Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training plans for telecommunication systems appropriate use.Application Packaging:Responsible for application packaging and scripting with tools such as AdminStudio, PowerShell or like technologys;Responsible for understanding and documenting application requirement and dependencies;Responsible for application installation and desktop configuration;Excellent understanding of windows file system, navigating the registry, windows file systems and network connectivity in regards to client/server applications.SCCM Administration:Responsible for the deployment and operations of SCCM client agents;Responsible for creating and deploying packages;Responsible with creating reports for all areas of SCCM operations;Responsible for providing 3rd-level support for level 1 and level 2 staff.Group Policy Administration:Responsible for understanding and documenting configuration needs related to group policy requests;Responsible for investigation and implementation of required settings using best practices.Must be a hands-on and proactive person who is able to work with minimum supervision.Be willing to be on-call and work on a rotational basis.Ability to work with and manage 3rd-party infrastructure support vendors.Any other reasonable duties requested by the Canadian EUC Manager.Mobileiron Administration:Responsible for the deployment and operations of Mobileiron client agents;Responsible for managing Mobile Application deploymentsResponsible with creating reports for all areas of Mobileiron operations;Responsible for providing 3rd-level support for level 1 and level 2 staff.Skills and Experience Required:Bachelors degree, preferably in information technology or a computer science related field.3-5years of experience in information technology.Excellent time management and organizational skills, initiative in decision making and problem resolution.Ability to work in a team environment and manage projects and tasks.Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.Ability to follow workflow and change management process.Expert knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and features.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies i.e: Azur, AutoPilot, InTunes, Cloud Management Gateway and Windows as a serviceExtensive knowledge of office productivity tools.Expert knowledge of packaging and deploying Windows-based applications.Extensive knowledge and understanding of SCCM, Group Policy objects and the tools to support and maintain these technologies.Demonstrable ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships at all levels across a global organization to achieve common goals.Strategic acumen and problem solving skills with the ability to turn findings into executable plans.Excellent customer service, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Norton Rose FulbrightNorton Rose Fulbright is a global legal firm.
