This is an on-site role located in Calgary, AB.Position SummaryReporting to the Manager, Enterprise Distribution and Transportation, the Enterprise Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for executing global shipments, monitoring Routing guide and reporting Outliers , reconciling and processing freight invoices, processing rebilling to customers where applicable, filing claims for damaged & lost shipments, maintaining strong communication with carriers.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning and executing global shipments to and from all depots and entities worldwide.Reconciliation of Freight invoices and timely processing of freight payments.Monitoring Routing Guide Compliance for global operations and reporting Outliers.Arranging for Rebilling to Customers / Suppliers where applicable.Freight claims with Carriers and Finance for lost and delayed shipments. GST Claim / Duty Rebates management for De Havilland.Monitoring changes in the trade and supply chain communities, identify risk and/or opportunities, communicate impact of changes in the environment to the businessDevelop plans to mitigate riskWork closely with the local DCs / Warehouses to execute smooth shipment handover to carriers, resolving issues where applicableMonthly /quarterly updates on all key aspect of responsibilities defined above.Education and ExperienceBachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, Engineering or aerospace related degree, or equivalent experience. An MBA would be an asset.2-3 years of experience in managing shipments globally.Experience working with TMS (Transportation Management System) in a Distribution center/ Retail environment.Experience with General Import and Export requirements.Experience working with 3PLs and managing 3PL relationships and contracts.Knowledge of Dangerous goods handlingKnowledge of Aviation Parts and related Documentation needed for Customs.APICS CSCP / APICS CLTD / SCMA / Any other Logistics related Certification is a plusSkillsFast learner and having a strong decision-making attitude.Customer Service Focus.Willingness to adapt to changing business culture and corporate objectives.Ability to build effective relationships and interact with internal/external stakeholders.Strong problem-solving, negotiating and influencing skills to resolve complex issues with stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills, with high attention to detail.Good analytical skills and ability to identify opportunities for improvement.At De Havilland Canada, we aim to be inclusive and diverse and provide equal opportunity for employment.
