Job Description

The Locked Room is looking for fun, upbeat, and personable individuals to join them as game masters at both their NE and Southland escape room locations. We are open evenings and weekends Tuesday through Sunday and would make a great job for a student or anyone interested in part-time employment. As a game master you be responsible for ensuring our guests have a good time from the moment they walk in the door til the moment they leave. Duties include:

  • Greeting guests and taking payments
  • Running guests through the games rules and backstory
  • Monitoring guests as they progress in the escape game
  • Giving clues as needed
  • Debriefing and answering questions
  • Resetting the game for the next group
  • Basic facility cleaning and maintenance
We are looking for people who:
  • Are comfortable interacting with guests in a live, in person setting
  • Know how to be fun while maintaining a professional standard
  • Have good verbal communication skills
  • Have good attention to detail and a decent memory
  • Have experience with escape rooms or puzzles and games in general
  • Previous experience as a host or tour guide would be a bonus
  • Note: applicants must have weekend availability to be considered
