Job Description

Looking for an experienced Barista to join the team at Good News Coffee in Inglewood.We are looking to fill a variety of shifts. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.Desired personal skills and key responsibilities:

  • Positive personality, with exceptional communication skills
  • A knack for problem solving and multitasking in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment
  • A commitment to teamwork and working in a fun and friendly atmosphere
  • Willing to learn the art of making quality coffee
  • Follows operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety and security
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Provides quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all presentation standards
  • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
  • Ability and willingness to learn quickly
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
Preference will be given to applicants with:
  • Previous Barista and Server experience
  • Evening and Weekend availability
Part-time hours: 15-30 per weekJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $15.00 per hourAdditional pay:
