We are Canada’s largest network service contractor offering Engineering, Design, Fabrication, Construction, Project Management, and Maintenance Services for telecommunication carriers, independent tower operators, broadcast and utility.We offer competitive wages, paid out living allowances, paid holidays, comprehensive benefits, RSP matching, stock options, a generous referral bonus program and opportunities to further develop your skillset and grow your career. • Splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fibre sites and links • Documenting and reporting on completed telecommunication work • Maintaining project and telecom safety documentation • Inspecting fiber routes and hub sites as preventative maintenance • Ensuring all attended sites are clearly labelled • Locating faults and mobilizing resources within minimal time to counter fault • Reviewing engineered plans and blueprints Qualifications: • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination • 5+ years Fibre Optic splicing experience • Technical training considered an asset • Previous telecommunications experience and testing for improved experience • Experience with electrical or working around power • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on emergency call outs as required • Willingness to travel would be beneficial as travel options may arise for future projects • Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and clients • Must be reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attitude!
